Picking out a typeface for any project is one of the best parts of the process. Getting to design my own was daunting but such an interesting and fun process. I wanted to create a typeface from outerspace and otherworldly. Something that looked like an alien language. Classy, smooth, and almost a little creepy, Mothership is exactly what I was imagining. While at first I was intimidated by the amount of possibilities, by the time I finished the typeface I learned how to use all of those possibilities as tools to make something I’m proud of.
